Greetings.
This is a soft pink to teal mandarin gown from the south of the river. The body hugging silhouette, with lotus prints is gentle and elegant.
Cheongsam, borne from Manchu origin, is the formalwear of those social butterflies of the 1920s and 30s. There’s something inherently feminine and glamorous with the embroidered piece.
Ordered in summer 2016. In mint condition wore predominantly for photo shoots.
